Youth and Alcohol: Get the Facts… They’re Sobering

Youth receive mixed message about alcohol from movies, television, magazines, music and their peers. Because of this, many kids do not understand how dangerous alcohol use can be.

April is alcohol awareness month and the New Jersey Herald teamed up with the Sussex County Coalition for Healthy & Safe Families (a program of the Center for Prevention and Counseling) to address youth use of alcohol. Hear what students from around the county had to say about underage drinking with the winning entries to the annual alcohol awareness contest.
